Preston Valley Hops was born from adventurous farmers Aaron and Alexis when they decided to make their way from the big smoke and into the real country side to try their hand at hop farming. Aaron comes from a background of brewing commercial craft beers so really knows his stuff when it comes to quality ingredients.

By using a nice, textured, older typeface thats scanned from an old book, the logo pays homage to traditional typography that may appear on a farm. Growing hops is a very hands on crop as the hops need to be picked off the vines by hand and then sorted etc. Keeping this in mind the logo needed to be created by hand, to do this "potato stamps" were made of hops. This gives the brand a very hands on, letter press style look.
